Worth it or not?

STARTED!!!!

Began botting today, Will start with fishing to 99, use it on karamja till 90 then to 99 at rocktails...After that I'll do 99 cooking with the fish I caught.

This is on 06/03/12




I've thought of doing this for an old account I found with some ok stats: has 65+ in wc, smithing, mining, fishing, cooking and firemaking.

Over this year I'm going to bot this account with Simba to see how far it goes then the next year work the combat by hand....here's what I plan for this year:

99 fishing first;
Use the fish gained for 99 cooking;
99 mining afterwards;
Then all the ores + more? For 99 smithing
Next 99 woodcutting;
All the logs for 99 firemaking;
Then I'd probably bot thieving up to 99
Then use the money made for 99 fletching.
And finally I hope to be able to go for a 99 runecrafting With any time left.

I know this will be a HUGE amount of work but I plan to bot around 20 hours a day with breaks in-between.
Any thoughts on how long it'll take?
Any advice + help?
And after all that next year I'll get these combat stats:

75 attack
99 strength
45 defence
99 hp
99 Mage
99 range
MAYBE 99 prayer

 

Yeah it's worth it if you don't use it anymore. May as well there are no real chance of getting banned and it will pay off and be beneficial for you.
Just go for it and make a botting log in the progress thread.

 

2 weeks per skill except for runecrafting which will take a couple of months.

So you can easily get it done in half a year if you really pushed.

Why not make the account into a 1 def pure? Won't have to quest as much compared to a zerker.

 

I'd do it, I bet it wouldn't take very long either botting.

 

You can get all of that VERY easily in under a year...The only thing that might slow you down is not legitting when you have the time. The other thing that might slow you down, is the next bot nuke if/when it happens (if it affects Simba).

If you did have the time to do at least some of it legit, I'd do a few things to maximize your XP that will save you time in the long run:

When Mining (at 80+ Mining, in the LRC), I would mine Gold and after obtaining each ore, I would Superheat them (last I checked, this does not stop your character from mining). That way, you are getting Mining and Smithing done at the same time.

When Woodcutting, after each inventory I would straight away burn the logs so you don't have to bank them (which will save you time on bank runs both for Woodcut and for Firemaking).

The only thing that will take a fair bit of your time is Runecrafting, but if you use ZMI all the way (once you get 54 RC, because at 54 you are supposed to at least break even on ZMI), that will have a decent XP rate per hour as well.

All in all, good luck on your goal. It may seem big, but it's easily doable if you keep yourself motivated. If bots get broken again, don't give up, because you can make yourself a badass account

Even if you have to do it legit, you'll probably be even more happy with it in the end. I maxed total (except only 109 Dung) legit, and it felt great Take it from me, once you get on a roll leveling things, you will be amazed by how fast it all comes. You just need to be motivated.

 

I would say around 6-9 months assuming you have really great luck and don't recieve a ban.

IMO, completely worth it, since I assume you recovered it, either way you weren't using it for anything else.

Be sure to make a progress thread though, I'll be interested in seeing how it goes.

 

Will-do shall make a progress thread, but where?
And it's not recovered just a REALLY old Acc I used to bot.
+progress thread will be hard as the bots I'm using are very buggy I need to either get better ones or fix them up.

Ah, Ok. Would be nice to see the progess though, atleast try to take some pictures.

 

It's worth it in my opinion. 20+ hours a day seems a little too much.

only costs 3m to get 99 cooking and fishing at karamja is very slow exp, go do powerfishing.

 

3m for 99 cooking?!? WOW, never thought that possible, Any Idea where to go powerfish any spots?

Nice goals, though if i remember correctly.. Maple logs into maple longbows is actually profitable of about 8M to 99.. ( This is going back nearly a year )
