Piercings.

Hey guys, Just wanted to open a quick discussion about body modification.

So, I've had my ears stretched to an inch (had to close for marines). Have a few tattoos, had my lip pierced in multiple areas.

But 2 days ago, my wife wanted me to get my septum pierced. I said alright, and we went down to rockabilly(popular tat and piercing shop) and got it done, well let me tell you. It was THE worst pain I've ever felt. I've broken 10+ bones, my nose, fingers, bitten by a rattlesnake, kicked by a horse. This was terrible, maybe I was just being a little bitch. But man.... so terrible.

What are your guys' experiences, good or bad?

 

So far I've not had any bad pain or reactions from piercings. I've got both of my lobes stretched to 10mm/00g, and had my labret, top ear and nostril pierced. Admittedly, it was pretty uncomfortable the first time I stretched my ears to 5mm or so (the other stretches weren't so bad, and I've stretched from 1.6mm-10mm after letting them heal back which didn't hurt as much as the first time)

The most painful piercing I had was my top ear, and I'd imagine all other cartilage piercings hurt the same, if not more.

I wanna get tattoos in the future. Not sure how much they're gonna hurt though. I hear so many different things from different people.

 

Where were you planning on getting your tats done on your body?

OT: I personally have not had any piercing/tats yet, but I am hoping to get a tat next year on my right bicep.

 

My nipples are THE WORST PHYSICAL PAIN I have ever felt myself.

That is one of them. I have been told it hurts as bad (if not WORSE) than a penis piercing. I have broken bones, been burnt, cut, bruised, smashed, broken, fucked up, tooth pulled, etc etc., and nothing has been as painful as these two little chick magnets.
I dunno about a septum, but that would be like getting stabbed and punched in the nose at the same time in my opinion.

 

My tattoos hardly hurt at all, uncomfortable to say the most.

Edit: Yeh, I heard septum is more painful then the Prince Albert as well.

 

I was planning on getting a half-sleeve on my upper right arm.

Oh man, I was planning on getting my left nipple pierced when I can afford it. I think you've just put me off a little :laugh:

(No doubt that it'll look amazing once it's fully healed though)

 

Never had a piercing, never will. Hoping to get a tattoo soon though.

 

Lol I bet septums would hurt as it is a pretty big inner gap.
I'm not a huge fan of them though. =/
It's different for everyone though with the pain tolerance.

I have heard that it's painful as hell. My friend got his left nipple pierced and he said he actually had to scream out loud when he got it.

Well I personally have my ears stretched to 0g. I was gonna keep it at 0g as I personally don't like stretched ears bigger than that but I have been thinking for a while of making 00g the last stop when I get a chance as it seems to not be "extreme" big.
I did have a burnout when I stretched my right ear from 2g to 0g which was pretty painful. So I had to wait a few months to let it heal and tried it again with luck. So that's probably the reason why I haven't stretched to 00g yet.
I used to have a labret for a few months. That wasn't as painful as I expected but it felt so weird like there was something stuck inside and you just have to get it out. I was only 13 at the time as well lol.

Piercings I want to get is a tragus piercing which is like the "pussy" piercing of them all as it heals pretty fast
I also wanted my tongue pierced but I always imagined of it being in the way. Would really need experiences from other people of tongue piercings before I decide to try it out.

 

I have an across the chest tattoo going on my colar bone and the shit hurt really bad. I pierced my ears at a freinds house with a tac and that really didnt hurt to much. it was in the lobe part.

 

It is $exXxy as FUCK!!! And they feel nice when they are played with.

As far as tattoos go, I have 3, and am getting a chest piece, a back piece, my WHOLE right forearm sleeved, my left forearm done, my right bicep, and both sides of my neck, as well as my ribs. Should be fun.

 

I had a piercing in my right nostril, it didn't hurt at all, but it was so painful to take it out and put it back in.
It was the most horrible pain I have ever felt and I don't understand it, my girlfriend said it should go smooth but for some reason it didn't.
I still want a few piercings, but I don't want that awful pain every time.
Any tips or so would be welcome. ^_^

 

A septum piercing sounds like my worst nightmare, a needle through the nose wall, ouch? You had every right to act like a bitch, I would too.
I have both my ears & tongue pierced. The tongue piercing didn't hurt no where as bad as you'd expect, but the healing process was, fucking hated it. Afterwords I got both of my ears pierced, but call me pussy, but that hurt way more then my tongue did.

Got nothing on my Inch plugs. But they closed up Also, it's not burnout.. it's blowout. LOL.

 

I have a single 10mm tunnel - was contemplating getting a second in my other ear, but decided against it
I have some script tattooed on the left side of my chest, and when I travel to Indonesia later this year to surf I'm getting another small bit of script designed and done over there on my rib cage - kinda in a position that compliments as well as harmonizes with my current small piece.

Getting my ear stretched to its current point (though still pretty small) went rather well, was pain-free, and I managed to avoid any infection. The same goes for my tattoo - I kept it clean, constantly used ointment on it, and it healed super quickly! Getting the tattoo itself was relatively bearable, but I don't have much fat on my chest at all and line work can be pretty serious business at times, especially on a sensitive area like that. The rib piece I plan to get will likely be a little more painful haha

 

I've got my left eyebrow pierced and I wear small silver hoops in both my ears.

Fuckin' badass tbh.

Forgot to add that I've always wanted a nipple pierced. I tried to do it myself at school when I was 12 to show off in front of some kids, and now I have a weird left nipple that is slightly deformed

 

I'm going to stretch my ears, using fakes right now till they've fully healed, any tips on how to make them heal faster anyone? And what should I do when they've healed?

 

The last time I got a piercing, it got messed up and didn't end well. I learned my lesson.

 

I did all mine myself, majority of I've taken out except my stretchers/gauges, which I think I'm going to keep for a long long time. They might have pierced it through cartilage if you didn't have enough space, which is pretty bad if you ask me can fuck the wall in your nose up (Just a possibility). I did my smiley, nipples and bridge, my ears also. Got my ribs, shoulder and the underside of my arm tattooed. If you take care of them during healing phase nothing goes wrong.

Edit: I have 30mm's in both ears.

 

Do not rush stretching, wait 2 weeks in between each jump. If you don't you'll regret it. You'll get blow out, and when you want them closed you'll have to get the sewed. Mine were at an inch.. and they closed by themselves, because I did it slowly.

Edit: Of course they didn't pierce the cartilage, a good piercer finds the "sweet spot". Only bad pierces would even come close to piercing the cartilage.
