Question about paypal

My paypal is linked to my bank, so if i want to send someone money from my bank to someone paypal, does it happen instantly? or do i have to wait like a couple of days for paypal to take money of my bank and then send it to someones paypal.

 

It should take money out of your bank if your paypal balance isn't sufficient, like i bought a app on itunes for 2.99$ through paypal and it took it from my bank statement. Make sure your bank account is your primary source

 

Yes but does this happen instantly? Or do I have to wait like 2 days.

 

I bought stuff off of ebay with an empty paypal account (linked to bank). The item got to me in the estimated time, although the payment didn't leave my bank for a few days.

If you have a credit card/debit card linked to the account as well it will be instant.
Otherwise you have to transfer money from your bank to your paypal (which takes 3-5 days)

I think the person above answered it weird, basically I've been using PayPal linked with my bank account and debit card:

If you have no PayPal balance and your backup source is your PayPal account it takes around I would say 2-3 business days for it to show on your online statement (if you do online banking) but the funds are sent immediately to the person they are sent for.

I do believe for a debit card it's quicker (maybe) I don't use it as my backup source but I've used my debit card for a purchase online recently and it was pretty much immediately it went on my statement (possibly because I didn't use PayPal as a middleman).

That's my basic experience so far with PayPal and buying, I think the person above you is saying that if you were to transfer funds from your bank account to PayPal it would take a few days, which in that case it would.

 

Lol now im a bit confused. I have my paypal linked to my bank account, so if i send someone 6 dollars it instantly gets send from my bank to them?
