I don't understand some people's logic when they set up their prices.

1. Why would any seller make MoneyPak payments the same pricing as PayPal payments? MoneyPak payments put sellers at ease, knowing that there is no possibility of a chargeback. It also costs MORE for a buyer to use MoneyPak because they have to spend around $5.00 to even get the MoneyPak card from the store.

2. Why would you have MoneyPak pricing MORE expensive than other payments?

3. Why would you make any PayPal payment the same price as a Player Auctions payment? As a seller, you get less money when selling through Player Auctions. What is the logic behind making regular PayPal payments more expensive, when the buyer could just go through Player Auctions instead to piss you off so you have to pay for fees? (It's the same pricing for the buyer anyway, it's just safer for them).

I just thought these things were interesting

 

Moneypak has a rather low monthly limit for people who don't supply their SSN and other info. This means that the seller can only accept a few small moneypak transfers each month, so they charge more and get more out of them from people who need to pay that way.

 

Oh, I totally forgot. I've probably taken over $800.00 through MoneyPak this month. I freaking love it, so I give people an incentive to pay using it

 

A lot of prices that people post are not real prices, in most cases the PA price is lower than what you actually will be paying per mil as they dont take into account charges when posting rates. Also people tend to charge a lot on PP sometimes, as high as PA due to the high risk of a chargeback so they want more money from the good trades. Also Paypal is not normally available to everyone, so they may just have to pay the MoneyPak prices as they are not allowed to buy via PP.

 

If you're going to start a business, might as well submit your SSN :/
