How do I use this I'm confused. Input file?

 

Yes it sure does i'm using it right now. Works great.

 

The input file is the file with your list of names to check. The output file is the file where all the free names will be saved.

 

I was just messing with this and I don't really need any names, so here is the list of available names out of the 2k or so I checked.

You could really find and claim some rare names with this, especially with Jagex clearing out and making thousands of names available again over the next few months.

 

Works like a charm, love this. I already own one rare name; hopefully I can collect more.

 

Working well ran it for the whole of the day checked 8141 names (mostly classic names found some rares ) if it could be a little faster then it would be epic!

 

Hey it's working! I'm checking the 1000 most common words, and the 1000 most common English male names: from Aaron to Zane, and everything in between.

Nice program, but why are you using a 3rd party service?

 

Works fine but my CPU has started increasing by more than 12% which is worrying anyone else notice the same thing?

 

Because making a program actually extract the right data from RS website is difficult. I have such a program on the way, thought

 

Not really sure on a method on how to find what names are available or taken other than actually logging into a member's account and checking the display name change.

 

You can use adventurers log.

You obviously need to provide a login for the bot to ID with the server, using _SESSIONID_, and obviously _NAME_ is the name in question.

Available names return "OK", unavailable names return "NOK" along with suggested alternatives.

I'll probably attempt to sell my checker/registration program after this next name drop period, but because you've got to log in with an account I've got a feeling it would be met with criticism, so I'll probably just not.

Nice client but it's not very reliable...

Entered in a few names, spit out a couple that were "available" created the accounts on RS but they were "taken"
