Best Rapper?

Run DMC, hands down is in the top 5.

 

2pac and eminem.

 

I don't classify Kid Cudi as a rapper, he deserves his own genre, hes my favorite artist though.
But as for best rapper I would have to say Eminem

 

2pac for me.
But as a rising lyricist, Earl's where my attentions atm.

What does skin color have to do with anything?? And you must not listen to Eminems lyrics to say he doesn't have lyrical ability--he always has, always will, and if you don't understand his metaphors they must go over your head... Whos to say if 2pac was alive, that he'd have his lyrical abilitys still? What if he lost it all, would you still call him the best rapper ever? Pac lived too short to really be considered the greatest IMO... He was also really contradictive...

 

I'd have to go with Eminem.

tupac and biggie or nas.... you can not argue differently if you think differently your not listening to real music... no other artist can compare to these guys.

 

You can think whatever you want, but remember that it's just your opinion. Don't act like you know more than everyone about music. You obviously haven't heard enough rappers if you actually think no one can even compare to them. Pac, Biggie, and Nas are all great, but there are still plenty of others who are better.

 

no there are not... No one can compare to them, each had their own style that was unique and thats why they are known as the legends of hip-hop.... you can not even come close to them. What they went through, what they talked about, how they related their life to their stories, their messages. No one can compare to them at all..

 

You just sound stupid. Rapping should be about telling a story and giving a message that people can relate to. Pac and Biggie aren't the only ones. There are tons of other rappers who are just as unique with their own style and also considered legends of hip-hop. You think they are the only ones who had it hard because they got killed? How about all the others who are also dead? Like I said before, you obviously haven't heard enough rappers to know shit or else you would realize how many other great ones there are out there besides Pac and Biggie.

 

At the moment....j. cole is the best lyrical rapper hands down.
