PKing is a bit boring lately

Anyone else feeling the PKing is a bit boring as of recent? Loot is always the same and fights usually go very fast - you either KO him or he KOs you. People alpha you and then run if it fails and so on.

I am not sure whats the problem. I doubt its because of the new items (claws and whatnot) but Im not sure. Might be boring because the loot is so inexpencive and the more expencive loot is so far away when comparing prices(dds 30k to claws 14m?)

What do you guys think?

Oh, btw, my stats are 80 91 1 with 44 prayer.

See it in the other way, now you can risk claws and all 'expensive' gear. It's really still about how good you are.

 

the thing that bores me about pking are raggers, pjers, rushers, one itemers and looters. Ill still always be a pker!<3

 

don't only pk in edgeville go pk in lvl 40 deep for real fun with some mates.

 

f2p pking should be revived I loved the times when varrock wildy was FULL, and i mean it, totally full with levels ranging from lv.3's to lv.126's. We would go deep into the wilderness and it was so thrilling!

Where fire strikes where da bomb and your hands would shake when you get deep into the wildy, although the risk was even as low as 30k... DAMN!

killing someone on login is quite satisfying. have them log onto the same spot you are standing in multi. tb, spec out. you know the drill

 

THissssss would love for it to happen but it seems hard now since theres hardly any good f2p pking clans

 

Hoping for a nice update from jagex.. Or maybe even the bounty hunter crater back. It would offer another aspect of Player killing that I find would revitalize the community quite a bit.

Couldn't agree more. Med level pking is dead. Clan pking is dead. It's boring. New BH needs to come out.

I want to do some clan pking, multi pking.
Also the lag is annoying shit and I always get zoom's, I dont know why but its annoying. Also The PJers/Rushers Get me so mad..

 

If you actually pk, you should know better. It's not about how good you are, that plays a minor role, and not in most cases. It's more on luck. People can dds spec a 900, which would instantly ko you.

Chris Archie is a good pker, but it didn't stop him from being ripped by a guy with 40 def and 99 magic, with a polypore staff. If you watch that video, you'll see that guy only needed 2 venge and 2 hits to end the fight, from start to end. There wasn't much Chris could do. And it happens a lot, you cannot base pking on skill. Skill only comes in when you know how to eat and use phoenix necklace (pures).

Go do a Dharok Fight, let's see if it's on skill. Anyone could get lucky with a venge + normal hit combo, that can deal around 600-700+ easily. People could hit 800 with an AGS, that's not skill.

OT: Yes, I completely agree. Before I quit, and now I came back, I used to Dharok fight. Back then DH was around 10M-14M a set, this was over 6 months ago. Now Dharok is like 5M. You now get a different feeling when pking full dharoks "5M... meh"

 

i know what you're feeling right now, i had a turmoil pure and it just wasnt fun at all, i couldnt stand that i always was teled from or had people just rushing me all the time, so now im 90 defence and LOVING IT!

 

I got really bored of p2p pking because of all the rushers and just different bs you should try going to f2p for a bit ive been pking f2p for almost a week now and made over 4M just in rune sets and like another 2M in scims 2hs and alot of gps from noobs trying to use corrupt if you do let me know how you fair!
