Which would be better Defence XP p/h?

Method #1
- 70 Attack
- 70 Strength
- Bandos, DFS, Whip, Fury, Super Potions

OR

Method #2
- 60 Attack
- 80 Strength
- Brackish Blade, Bandos, DFS, Fury, Super Potions

Please keep in mind of accuracy bonuses as well instead of strength only. Thanks!​

 

Those stats/equipment aren't too different, so the XP/hr shouldn't vary too much. You might get slightly more with method #1 using a whip.

I suggest zerker and oby cape, and guantlents, but depends what you're attacking.

I think method #1 would be more effective, because the whip give's so much better attack bonus's.

 

Method 2, the STR helps...method 1 is almost useless cause you're like any of those new-beginning mains.

 

I dont think there would be a huge difference between those 2 methods to be honest. But if I had to say which one might be slightly faster, I would say option 1 because of the fact you are using a whip, and those 10 extra attack levels will likely slightly increase your accuracy.

 

Brackish blade and DFS both offer crappy accuracy, i would go for a whip and a dragon defender for SURE.

 

whip over brackish, no matter what str level....

 

method 1 but only because the whip hit's more constant and is faster. the +15 str more or however doesn't matter too much if you never hit.

@runescapwns It's called I CBF to waste 2-5 hours just to get a Dragon Defender plus it's better defence bonuses. Oh yeah and thanks for spamming my thread.

 

Method 2...more strength and you can hit higher. Method 1 is like a normal main and isn't really any good for pvp or pvm.

 

Defence bonus for WHAT? Where the fuck are you going to be training at that hit so much that defence bonus is better than +25 slash?

Also it's not a "waste" of 2-5 hours when it's the best fucking shield in the game and you will have it forever and you can save 8m by selling your garbage dfs.

 

I'd say method 2. Higher str + stab is better.
