Days of our lives

So, Many of you are probably know The Tv show Days of our lives, Acording to me I think its really boring (just my opinion) Well, The sick Thing is, This tv show has been going Since 1965, I read this on Wikipedia, 11763 Episodes has been made since 1965. Thats sick, And the crazy thing is, What i've heard they are still doing new episodes? Seriously this must be like a record or something for most episodes ever made?

 

Have to admit that is a lot of episodes that have been made however i am not familiar with the show Days of our lives? is it on in the Uk?

 

its on in sweden, Its original American What im aware, I think it shows on tv in many Different Countries, It goes on like 6 am in the morning lol

From what I've heard, a lot of the soap operas like this are shutting down in the US.

 

It's a shit show, but when I was a little kid I got into it.

Every day after school I would go to my Grandma's house and she would watch Days of Our Lives when it would come on, and after awhile I just got used to it.

Of course I never watched it after times like that, but it's easy to see how shows capture audiences from different generations.

It's a soap opera, comes on everyday except weekends. My mom watches every episode.

Tbh I've only heard of it through the popular sitcom: Friends.

My mom used to watch it all the time, I bet my grandma still watches it. It's an awful show.

Isn't Days of Our Lives a soap opera?

I've heard the name many times but never bothered to watch it, nor do I think I've ever even seen it on. Nearly 12,000 episodes for ANY show is absolutely insane though. Most shows these days are lucky to make it to a second season and air 15 episodes.
