Theoretically, they could do it by messing with the colors. For example, if they want to stop iron miners, they could just make some random pixels the same color as iron rocks or having variable colors everywhere, but the would make the game look horrible so the best they can do is temporarily break color bots by updating/changing object colors occasionally.

i wouldn't be surprised if they do knock out 100 percent of bots. what bots are currently up?

 

I'll just see what happens, and I'm sure that colour bots will still be working.

 

I do not think ,that they can remove color bots. They would need to change color everytime for example yew tree is cut down form yellow to pink etc ,but game would look very horrible. Till we can see it with our own eyes we can bot it with color bots..

But I agree with taking down reflection bots..

 

Read through the first 3 pages, too lazy to read through the next 3. But this is how I see it. If runescape doesn't go client based, and rework the game, it will die. The only reason I say this.. is because, games such as Call of Thrones, for example, have better graphics, WASD movement, full 3D environments, and is COMPLETELY browser based. The advances in browser based games is becoming ridiculous. Game like, WoW, Everquest, will shortly be available for browser, or at least COULD be. Some big MMORPG's have already released browser usage, so you don;t have to download it if your not on your gaming box. I think GrandFantasia has already.

 

There's no way they can get rid of all bots.

 

Im guessing this mass bank did and won't ever happen...

 

Pretty sure they can never kill color bots, without completely messing up the game at least. Color will always adapt.

 

Im really looking forward on how they will fix the new randoms.
Objects rotate in random angles and the colors of the objects change every time.
