Upcoming armour rework (March 2012)

The recent graphical update looks good to me. Looking forward to this new one!

Besides, it's just the looks of the armour... your stats are still there and can tank the same amount.

 

Yeah it looks badass, lets just hope they don't fuck it up like what they did to the TzHaar items.

Runescape needs to fire their entire fashion design team because their new armors look terrible, you would think that the new armor they put out would of been the old shit, and the old shit would of been the new graphic stuff, cause the old shit looked SOOO much better. And atleast when you wore Black,Iron,Rune etc, you looked like an actual knight, just with colored armor, now you look like some wannabe samurai soldier or something.

The barrows wasn't too bad, it's just that all of the sets look the same. The steel/iron sets and obsidian shield on the other hand are awful. What's even worse is when they keep updating the style of the homepage, the skill icons, the font of the text in the game, and all that stuff. I'd much rather see them add actual content then update some cosmetics and call it an update.

 

Yeah. :/ ThE ONLY thing I want them to change is the damn Font... it looks terrible, The other day a small update came.. and it had the old classic font for a few days till they CHANGED BACK to the GAY current in-game font?!? Wtf is wrong jagex? and I hate how "kiteshields" look.... look so disgusting, Look like something from WoW (I don't hate WoW tho, shields in wow actually look better..)

This^ !!!!!! ALL THE WAY! But yeah.. when they ruin the final armors left, I'm quitting. Maybe will go on a skiller, but I'm stopping training Combat when the arm I have to wear looks disgusting.

I think them getting off the "same style, different color" idea is better. Yes, the game changes, but Graphical updates will always be welcomed as long as they look good.

 

Never found it so difficult to tell who's wearing what armour lol

 

I think barrows armour looks pretty bad. But the bronze, iron and steel look too good for low levels, they are all the same with different colors =/

The only thing they really need to update is rune. It looks like shit, and always has.

So true, so much babies crying over a few updates, this happens EVERY time theres an update on runescape.

The dragon armour looks pretty decent and would like ownage with the dragon wings or whatever you call them.

 

Please tell me they're not touching god armor

 

Jesus.. If a player quits for more than a year it's pretty much impossible for them to come back. You just know nothing anymore. The new armour is all horrible, I'm not bitching, I'm only comparing it to what it was.

I swear Jagex could fuck up a wet dream.

 

If anyone's curious to see what some of the armors look like, they go over a few of the updated armor sets in the video. My personal favorites at the minute are Armadyl, Dragon and Rune. Sweet update, I can't wait for tomorrow. Also, they have said they will be updating torva, so I'm hoping we will see an update for virtus and pernix (It would be cool, especially since I just invested in a virtus set ^_^ )
