Outcome of the staking glitch

Yea I doubt a mass ban will uprise, I mean yes a lot of people won a lot of money but it would be difficult to track and they can't just swing the ban-hammer wildly about.

The last mass-ban I can think of (someone correct me if there has been more I took a break recently for a few months) was when the dragon bolt dupe glitch came out. Oh yea and the dungeoneering runecrafting glitch which was like 500k xp per hour or something crazy like that for runecraft, that was a rollback of the entire game though, haha.

 

They win alot of money, sell it to rwt's and rwts sell it back to legit people. No big diffrent cuz I don't think they will be banning anyone.

 

Nobody will be banned, just like in the past similar cases.

 

They are not dumb, they transfered ofc.

I know for a fact that one of them had 100B+ worth of hats, and when you transfer that kind of wealth, I'm sure there's a high chance of you getting owned.

 

I was in a stake and the kid ate like a ton of food. But somehow I won lol...

Hit like 5 200+ hits with vls

 

Don't think there's been a mass-ban since the d-bolt dupe (don't hold me to that)

This glitch is essentially just people taking money from one account to another whereas the d-bolt dupe they were actually bringing more money into the game which shouldn't have been there.

Doubt Jagex will do anything about it, it's been too long.

 

They've reset/banned them in the past...

Ex: trollheim glitch

idk they did ban a lot of people for doing the easter glitch

 

he probably meant that he hit the other guy 5 200's which is why he won despite his opponent glitching and eating food.

 

I think the GP is going to drop, since so much more has been released.

 

Honestly Jagex won't do shit as far as bans go, and I wouldn't be worried about this affecting gold prices at all.

 

I went staking recently and there was hardly anyone there, everyone was suspicious about everyone scamming lol

 

Released? Staking doesn't produce GP, it just changes hands.

 

Even though this didn't affect me any,
I felt terrible for the people whom it did concern.

Apparently not only did this glitch become an issue while staking; but also an issue whilst in the second trade screen with another player.

From what I've understood, if you hit accept too soon in the second trade screen the item that the other player removed won't disappear to you; but if they hit accept after they remove it, then it shows up as removed to both parties.

I think Jagex took care of this however as the Forums/Worlds aren't as chaotic anymore.

Word spread fast - People listened; those who didn't, well.. sad face.

I didn't play all day yesterday due to this expecting Jagex to do some rollback rather than refund acclaims; guess I should've been on.

 

This, Jagex really does not give a single F lol
