SoF Farming?

So guys, i had an idea about half an hour ago today, to make like 50 accounts, do the tutorial on all of them, then do the squeal of fortune spin once a day on all of them.

I'm not trying to get money out of this, but i AM hoping to get a rare item on an account, then i will proceed to make that account a member and make it into my official range tank/pure (depending on the item i get, if i get claws i will make it a pure, if i get a divine/ely i will make it a range tank)

I could also, perhaps, if i get other items i could sell the account here on the Sythe market?

Tell me your thoughts on this, i think it could be a great start to a ranged tank.

It's an idea, but idk how effective it'll be.
Try it out, and see what kind of item's you obtain in like a month's span, then you'll see if it was really worth it or not.

 

50 spins a day racks up to quite a good shot at a divine. Using a calculator its 18K spins a year, which is a darn lot. I'll probably stumble upon some godswords though (which i will sell on Sythe), before i land a divine.

It would take like 30 minutes a day if you can log into each account and do the squeal fast.

 

Odds of the best items are 1 in 20,000. So even for a year you aren't likely to get one. Waste of your time.

Also stumbling on godswords won't do shit. They are worth what like 8-20m? People aren't going to want to buy an account with one on them when they can just buy the real thing.

I kinda want these items because they're authentic and super rare rather than their actual stats. But still, i'm trying to get a divine/ely because if i were to buy one it would cost my whole bank.
I still think its worth spinning a few times a day, i got a rune battleaxe today which was considered a rare item.

 

350 spins in a week seems quite good actually. However, there are probably better ways other than relying on luck.

 

The amount of work would likely outweigh the potential benefits, as the odds are unfortunately stacked against you

Since they are untradeable, I don't think it's worth it. You won't be making enough money out from this.

 

Since they're untradeable, they musn't have much value.. How does it work if you die with one of the items?

 

Its more harder than you think to get a rare,as if your tab lands on a rare you will prob get a lamp instead,jagex did not make this thing without thinking about it and understanding that if everyone gets rare,eco will crash

False. For example, if someone won a divine, they would either sell the real one if they already have one, or just never buy a real one. Everything would sell the real item and just use the "Lucky" one, causing their prices to drop.

 

If you're doing this for personal use, trying to nab a divine or something then go ahead but I don't think you can make money off this.

 

Gl doing tutorial on 50 accounts but imo if you do it then it will be worth it, and you should make like a log on your loots

 

Yeah create a thread for it or something with pictures of everything you get per day.
