Upcoming armour rework (March 2012)

The Runescape community really need to ditch the neophobic tendencies. Graphical updates do NOT significantly affect gameplay, they're only little tweaks that take a few weeks to get used to.

 

I can't wait for it to be honest except for the lag.

 

I like the new armour look, gives something fresh to the game. The old barrows look were like 7 years old

 

they just need to change all the graphical stuff back, especially scimmys they used to be so good and now they look crappy

 

This is true, the new dragon scimitar's sound effects/appearance and animation are trash.

Sometimes, jagex, the simple stuff is the best.

Personally I liked the Barrows update, it was long over due.

 

They might as well alienate all of the old players. The last graphical updates blew, how will these be any better? It's trying to put a chandelier in your homeless cardboard box, no matter how nice you make it look - still going to be a cardboard box. I mean if the effort they put into making nice looking graphics is terrible what makes us think that any gameplay updates will be better?

 

It all blows. I haven't played for more than 30 minutes at a time in the last 2 and a half years.

 

Goodbye what's left of the older RS I guess.

This^... I seriously dropped and sold ALL of my iron, bronze and steel arm, they made that look GAY. Now they're going to make the black, mithril and addy and rune GAY too? Looks like I will be selling ALL my armour.. and quitting then.
I loved how the armour used to look like.. RIP old RS.

And yeah.. I can't train anymore.. I don't want to train in disgusting looking arm.. So when they change the last armours, I'm quitting cause I can't train Cb anymore. I agree with everyone that doesn't like how they are ruining the arm, making it look all WoW like :/

 

I don't know. I'll give my opinion again when the update comes out tbh. This update has a hint that iit won't be complete bs.

 

The armor updates look cool, the fact that I can barely play Runescape now because of lag issues is annoying though.
I'm not sure what they changed but I only do 15 - 20 FPS on lowest quality..

 

Darn Jagex intervening with runescape again . Why couldn`t they just leave the god damn game alone?

 

not gonna lie the new sara is awsome. but its true there goes the og rs. all thats left is, well nothing really......wait phats are the same! to bad not many peopel have em

 

They should change barrows back..............

 

The new dragon armour looks terrible. God knows what they were thinking.

 

I don't support this and their other updates since they want it to look too much middle age

These pointless graphic updates have really been killing the game for me lately. I just hope they don't fuck up bandos :/
