I finally made back 100M from staking today.. enough for supplies for 92 herb during BXPW

problem is I'm like 2 days late...

Does anyone know IF Herbs/2nd Ingredients crash sometime before or During BXPW?

What about on Monday (the last day of BXPW on the 19th March)?

I've missed all 3 BXPW because I've never been able to buy materials or I just wasn't into the game. I don't want to miss out again

 

Herblore is even less expensive immediately after BXP than it is during the weekend, even with the XP difference.

 

Wouldn't it crash during the weekend, since everyone is done with herblore and trying to sell their pots?

This is not necessarily true. Pots will definitely crash, but ingredients will probably hold for a lot longer.

Both will definitely crash afterwards thoug.

 

Yes it does, as people will run out of supplies, go shit! I need more stuff spam the +5% button and therefore things will go up and up and they dump their pots cheap, good time if you want to merch prayer potions!

 

Herbs and secondaries are expensive now.

Wouldn't want to spend those 100m on herb if I was you.

 

Take into consideration there are many merchers that will dump there herb supplies a day before bxp, so if ur patient enouth and save urself from panic buying you'll save urself a lot

 

It is still possible to buy certain potions for fairly cheap.

I personally just bought about 6k spec restore potions (super energy (3) and a papaya) which cost me less than 35M all together and give 200xp per potion. If I had bought anything else, like saradomin brews, I would have had to spend WAY more initially to buy all the supplies, and by the time I wanted to sell them the price on brews would have dropped so sharply that it just wouldn't be worth it.

Try looking into something like spec restores that are untradeable, so you lose 100% of the money you sink into them, because alot of those potions are actually pretty decent choices when you calculate the cost per xp. Especially when something like spec restore potions will be giving you 540 xp each and decreasing from there.

 

What would you do if you didn't think economic about bxw?
