Itachi! By Kovan

Just made this ,, didn't spend to much time on it to be honest,, But that's because I'm kinda stuck and don't know what else to do with it,, it feels unfinished in my opinion

Anyway,, i was hoping if anyone had CnC and maybe some ideas
Itachi(the guy) and the Sharingan(the red eye) is made by myself in illustrator,, the rest is photoshop

*smaller size since original is to big*

 

I like it, for the most part, except for the text and placement of Itachi and the Eye. I feel like it would be better if you say used a Fibonacci spiral/rule of thirds instead of just placing everything in the middle.

I like the way Itachi looks, nothing wrong there, but the background doesn't do the picture justice. There should maybe be more texture added to the shape, and it would be more interesting if you added more shapes, or even a scene behind him, but for not having spent a lot of time working on it, it's good!

Looking at it, he's crouched on a pillar, maybe you could add some old ancient pillars around or something?

 

i like to contrast between itachi and the white/silvery background.
the white beady eyes make a nice focal point that also has contrast between the black and the white background.
I also noticed the darker red towards to top left gets lighter

Don't be harsh on yourself, it's amazing!
sm is right, it could do with some accompanying pillars.

I had one a year ago,, but I'm not so popular with gfx anymore here on sythe ,, many people who are better than me

kovan, given the fact that you're a nice guy from what I've seen, and that you're looking for improvement, you should totally start up a shop! I'd support you what's the worst that could happen? go for it

 

Thanks surj ,, but my style isn't popular here ,, everyone looks for 3d stuff and i can't do that.

@Anxma,, I recently started Media&Design school here in the netherlands,, so the only stuff i make nowadays are only Logo's, magazines, websites, flyers and stuff like that, commercial things,, i don't do much Art anymore,, And I'm way to busy with school and work to start a shop here maybe when i have more time I'll open one

 

it's somewhat tough to see the meeting point of the person's feet and what he is standing on, maby editing that part? other than that it's a fantastic picture!
