Got this on my first attempt too. Then realized what was going on and didn't bother to do it on the rest of my mules.

out of 10 f2p accounts...I have never gotten an item that I need to be a member for...

This is by far the lowest that I have yet to see Jagex sink within the 8 months that I have been playing Runescape (before that, I had't logged in since 2006).

Without people complaining though, changes will never be made. Jagex will continue to ruin and destroy the game as we know it, and there WILL come a point when this game is no longer worth playing anymore.

I can tell, but i would have been pissed if I bought membership and then realized you couldn't sell the item.

How dare a company tries to make money, this...this is unheard of. They banned most of the bots, which was over half of their income. A game can't run without money, so they need to make some income since most of it was lost with the bot nuke. If they cared about money they would have kept the bots because banning them has hurt them very badly financial wise.

Sure players think "Oh more legit players will come back or something." If they left the game they probably don't keep up with updates so they won't be coming back. People think it is better, but they need some way of income to keep the game running. I guess we will just have to wait for the next update for people who think that the game can solely revolve around their interest whines about something else and this becomes old news.

you get free shit like a ''Lucky AGS'' which you can not trade..
then what the fuck you gotta do with 10m ''lucky'' coins? are they normal coins or ''lucky'' crap 2?

 

I would venture to say that most players with divines don't corp often. Judging by the fact that no one has made a valid claim to obtaining one in a day I'd say there is no reason to panic. While there is an off chance that a few players with 4b+ might receive a divine/elysian (and therefore don't need to buy one) I really don't think its enough to have a fit over.

I'd also say that any player who received a divine by the SoF would value and use it more than any hoarder with the cash to buy it. I've seen merchers complaining about "how hard they worked." Honestly I see it as a good update, and something to encourage me to log-in daily.

As for the update in general, I like it. I think it's just a clever ploy by jagex, you all seem far to angry about a game that you supposedly love.
If you really think they keep on ruining it, just leave. In 5 years time you'll say you wasted your time anyway.
