The game will still last for a bit, and besides what's stopping Jagex from developing and maintaining a totally brand new game?

 

it will last as long as the investers want it to last and as long as we keep paying for memberships.

 

I really don't understand the foreboding about Runescape and Jagex. Sure, they've released some shitty updates, but it's time to adapt.

 

first, its not shitty. it got a lot of good things in it.

second, it would be so "shitty" if people abused it for money.

Because of the fact that this game makes money, it will last a very long time. Jagex will keep it alive because it makes bank. tbh, $8 a month is very affordable. That's a quarter a day. I can find 25 cents on the ground everyday.
