Cannoning

While slaying on my pure using cannon what weapon would be most effective? ive heard cannons accuracy is based on your wielded weapons accuracy so im unsure.

It's based on your Ranged level, so higher range would obviously help. I usually always see people using melee with their cannons.

 

Well I've read a lot that while using say, chaotic maul you will hit more often with cannon then using no weapon at all

 

Yes its based on your highest weapon accuracy, not much things you can equip with those stats so maybe look for a low defense monster.

 

Why even worry about it at that low level, just grab the best weapon you can think if for your level, grab your cannon, and start smashing shit.

 

just go to rock crabs and dont worry about what your weilding right now, when you can weild more accurate range weapons wear those, heard it will make your range more accurate from the cannon

 

I'm not sure if your weapon affects your cannons accuracy and damage.

But, you should definitely not cannon until your ranged level is much higher, or else you are just wasted tons of money. I've never cannoned at 7 ranged, but I imagine you don't hit very high, nor very often.

 

cannon definitely goes off your weapon
and its the fastest leveling for range at that lvl
