To be totally honest, I reckon this update has taken 6 months off the life span if the game.
Plus - Why would anyone ever bother buying good gear now? When you could just wait to get it for free >.>

Also, are the valuable items like godsword and bandos armour tradable?

 

No they are not. The most valuable tradable reward is 10m cash (which Grrr got this morning by the way).

 

i think jagex thought that idea to 'lure' people to become members.

 

The odds of getting those beast items are like 1 in 20,000. So go ahead and wait all you want.

The main rewards people will be getting are xp lamps (which is great imo) and the occasional sara sword which is shitty anyway

 

I think this update is nice .

 

Does anyone know how long this update will last? Plus, if you win the 10M, you can't trade it. You have to use to buy at stores. Overall though, I think it's a great update.

Personally I think the items you receive from the wheel should degrade. Can they be protected if you die in combat btw?

Just got a small firemaking lamp and a medium ranged lamp, giving 4 & 6k each :3

 

Can you actually spin the wheel twice per day? (every 12 hours)

I spun when the update came out yesterday around 8am or so, and when I logged in about 12 hours later, I had the option to spin yet again. I am going to log in to RS again soon, and so if its by the 12 hour rule I should have 2 spins waiting for me.

4 spins per day is a little crazy though.

Sorry, I meant 2 spins per day, 2 spins each time. I should have used the word "tries".

Like I said, I spun yesterday around 8-9am when the update came out (2 times), and then spun again about 12 hours later when I logged in around 8-9pm (another 2 spins).

A total of 4 spins yesterday within 12 hours. Was that meant to be like that? Have they fixed it now so its once every 24 hours and you can spin the wheel twice?

 

jagex is ruining the game even more now, updates like these are not needed, start trying to update/upgrade servers...

Not a good update and the godswords are untradeble.

 

Resets in UK time, so it resets at like 6PM for east coast or somewhere close.

2 spins a day for members max.

 

I don't think the update negatively impacts the game much at all.
