Your most heartbreaking moment.

I remember i was mining tin at the varrock mines and the old man event popped up and the guy talked to me, i got his question wrong and he noted my steel scimitar. I was unable to weild it and didn't know about item noting at that time and was freaking out because that steel skimmy was my bank. Other moment was getting xlogged in arena for 2b a few weeks ago from a guy named 'blowin kush' lost the rest of my bank a few stakes later.

 

When i first became a member i had full black G, i saw a guy in initiate armor (thought it was "white G") and traded him, about 2 minutes later somebody told me that was stupid and initiate was 20k when black g was 500k... made me want to quit.

 

From when trade limit began I grinded out enouth gp to afford white phat + 500m (ttl of money made from limits) then free trade came out and I started staking at 1st I made 1b and then I started staking larger and lost 900m cash then red phat and purple. 2 years of merching all lost within weeks

 

My most heartbreaking moment was when I came back to RS this past summer after 6 YEARS away from the game... you can imagine how much things changed right?

Well I heard about this new place called the God Wars Dungeon and I decided to go check it out, specifically the "Aviansies" which I heard were a good source of cash and ranged experience. Well after killing for for a few hours (I had well over 40 KC), I remember having grappled over the gap and was exploring the other side. I made it to the boss room, and Kree was sort of over by the wall and I didn't see her at that exact moment, so I clicked the door.

As soon as I arrived in the boss room, I realized what a big mistake I made! Needless to say, I got fucking 3 hit by Kree while in a massive panic. I made it back to GWD fairly fast (before my timer ran out) and got stuck at the door, and THAT is the moment I realized that you need 40 KC to get inside the room - the first time I had wandered in there, the KC had been automaticac because I was killing aviansies, so I hadn't thought about it.

I sat there at the door and watch half my bank disappear, including roughly 3k addy bars and and all the runes and GP I had collected during the previous few hours at Aviansies. Definitely my most heartbreaking moment in RS :laugh:

 

Back in early '06, I brought a easter egg. I hadn't had it noted and I ate it by accident, took a while to get that cash back then .

 

I decided to start playing again after a 2-3 year break since all my real life friends started up again too. I was older and didn't have much time or interest to put into leveling up anymore. I kind of knew what botting was, but never thought much about it. I decided to look into it and of course decided to buy one. I had a level 122 with over 3b on it that I had mostly made much from merching. I decided to buy Perfect Soul Wars since I had 97 range and wanted to max that out first along with the rest of my combat skills. I definitely regret not buying Perfect Fighter instead. I did some research on safe botting and was only botting 8-10 hours a day while babysitting a lot of the time. After 6 days of botting, I made the mistake to bot overnight one time since I was about to get 99 range and wanted it once I woke up. Instead I wake up to seeing my account perm banned. Turned out they had just done a sweep at soul wars. Lost my very first 100% legit trained account with no black marks that was made in 03, along with around 3.5b in cash and items which I couldn't have transferred over because of the damn trade limit at the time. It was the first weekend they started handing out perm bans too. I quit again right after that.

6 months later, I decided to come back for some reason. I wanted to make a perfect staker and chose to make a range tank. Within a few months, I had it pretty much where I wanted it at 99 range, 99 mage, 90 hp, 75 def, 1 prayer and summoning. I started working my way back up to some good cash from staking, while botting up several accounts and selling them here on Sythe. I also made several sorc garden accounts and started gold farming 24/7. Out of all the accounts I botted, I never had another one banned.

Unfortunately soon after, I ended up quiting again after getting anti-lured by Cls Product who I had known for a while and thought I was friends with. We had done some successful phat lures and I didn't see it coming at all. After that, I just lost all motivation to keep playing for some reason. I still had plenty of cash to keep going, but just ended up selling everything. I don't really regret it thought and I'm kind of glad I don't play Runescape anymore to be honest.

 

I was selling 500m couple days ago.. probably been a week. then i decided after working out the amount of irl cash i would get would only be £200-£300 so i thought leme go for 1b by renting a staker.. rented one off someone... put 500m on (yes very stupid of me) should have put 100m but oh well then i staked 200m won it.. and i was up 700m 3 seconds after i win the stake i get dced account got instant recovered by the email Heart sunk deeper and deeper every day after till like day 3 and i got over it

 

Losing void the day after i got it !

 

Took my full bank during a quest (it was with the Queen Scarab or something) at smoking wells (with those great banshee)
I had around 25-30m actually on me and thought the boss would be easy. All I need was pots, protect from magic etc. When I went through the portal I put protect from mage and BAM this 4 scarab archers came outta nowhere and killed me instantly. I ran back but back then items disappeared in 30 sec - 1 minute and there wasn't a gravestone so yeah good fight. 30m was ALOT back then btw so it was a big deal.

 

Back when I was an RS noob and a little kid I got scammed by some guy saying he could turn my rune scimitar into a dragon one. I lost my rune scimitar and didn't have any money left because I had just bought it and didn't really know anything about moneymaking then. Now I could go pickpocket one if I wanted to but I'll always feel stupid and sad that I fell for a scam (the only scam I've ever fallen for).

 

I went in the wild with claws and some asshats use some sort of glitch and they all attacked me even though it was in a non-multi area.... Then right before I died I saw i my protect item was on and i had about 50 prayer left but then they healed me somehow and kept doing with smite or something and then i died and lost claws and was sad n stuff...

This was when claws were like 40m so it was pretty much my bank...

 

I remember this. The quest was Smoking Kills or something like that.

I thought it would be easier than I thought, I got owned and I lost my Arma helm. Happened a few years ago, sad day.
