This works quite well, at first it was quite buggy although once Kratom fine-tuned it it works very well, well worth the price.

A stabler version has been made and is now being tested by me and my customers and sales should resume shortly.

New version is ready!
It now keeps retrying in case of errors and never stops.

Unlike my competition I don't promise performance of under 1 second/name because doing that RuneScape will eventually catch on to what you're doing and start blocking your requests and the replies will become much, much more irregular and slower.

Also begun work on a VB.NET application that won't require mIRC to use!

Program currently runs at about 1.5-2.0seconds/name and pretty much never stops, will get an overnight proggy posted tomorrow

I've figured out how rscript parser works (or at least a method that's equally as fast and reliable). It will be a pain to get it working exactly how i want it to, might take about a week. It also won't work in mIRC so I will have to make a standalone application (VB.NET or C#). But then it should be checking names reliably at around 0.5secs/name easily or even faster (by my estimations).

Well for one it's certainly faster in the long run because it mainly uses RS website to check names and then doublechecks with rscript parser for the "available" ones as RS highscores or adveturer's log returns a few false "availables".

However, I'm still working on the main advantage that will set the 2 programs apart - multi-threaded data extraction from the RS website. Names will be checked at under 0.3 seconds each.

 

I didn't get you, you said this in the OP:

P.S. With a free copy already released, someone would not spend 30m/$21 for the same thing, just a bit faster(if it'd be). A reason why I've quit on this program sale and starting to do something rather better

 

Yea I understand your frustration, there are probably more rewarding projects to work on instead, for me too.

Imagine yourself releasing a program for sale and then having 2 people copy the same idea within 1 week, one of them releasing it for free.

The 0.3 sec/name ESTIMATION is for a FUTURE version, not the one for sale now. It would be given for free to existing customers, though.
