Need advice on buying a car

Scenario:
I'm a second-year college student and I'm taking next year off to make some money. I'm debt-free at the moment and I plan to keep it that way. This summer I can save up about $4,000 towards a car (good down payment if you ask me). I want a fast car, but also fuel efficient. After summer is over, I've got an 'in' for a new part-time job as an EMR at an ambulance station and will be making about $20k that year. The option of a second part-time job is very possible (+$10k).

My overall goals:
* Buy a car.
* Save up $9,000 to pay off my third-year.
* Save up $9,000 to pay off all living expenses/food for the academic year.

Expenses to consider:
* To sum up, I'll be driving a minimum of 325km/200mi a week.

'05+ GSX-R (bike):
Price: $7,000 Combined mpg: 50+. 0-60: 3.0s
Cons: Can't use during winter months.

'02-'05 Acura RSX:
Price: $9,000 Combined mpg: 26. 0-60: 7.8s

'02 Acura RSX-S:
Price: $12,000 Combined mpg: 24. 0-60: 6.0s

'07 Mazdaspeed 3:
Price: $13,000+ Combined mpg: 22. 0-60: 5.3s

'07-'11 GTI:
Price: $14,000 Combined mpg: 24. 0-60: 6.1s

'94-'05 WRX:
Price: $15,000+ Combined mpg: 20. 0-60: 5.6s

What car would you chose and why? Would you suggest another car?

Volkswagen Golf 1.9 TDI Sport.

Nice car, around £6000 in england for one that's 3-4 years old with around 60,000 on clock, that's one that's averaging 50-60 MPG. Might be 7 seconds to 60, but to be honest, do you really need to go fast?
