anyways here is a piece that I wrote on a forum for a "topical battle" but got no showed.. wrote this in about 15 minutes

Every year it seems as if we are doing what is truly right
We have goals for resources to capture that are in plain sight...
However....
Soldiers are being sent armed to start a worldwide controversy
Innocent civilians are harmed and that’s the worst part to see...
Bomb after bomb being dropped on cities with no mercy shown
Blood from arteries being mopped from peoples arms getting blown....
Infants, having to witness, their mothers perish from their hands
Our country's strands with others are gone since we invaded their land...
But are we so serious that we pretend to be delirious towards a death?
Bullets are blasted, that will send you to a casket with in a breath...
We try to strive by being the top nation in the world's economy...
But up above we get shameful looks from the big man’s balcony....
How many of our brethren have to be annihilated just for a goal?
Is it worth others being violated for us to only gain oil and coal?
Could there possibly be a solution with more than one velocity?
Or are we truly living in a country that's not ruled by democracy...
