~Road to storm of armadyl tank~

Well i've decided to get storm of armadyl on a fresh account. This account was created on 2007 november and was used as a scamming account such as trust trades ect.

I've transformed it into a defence pure when soulwars came out and now i've decided to turn it into a storm of armadyl tank/pure whatever you may want to call it.

The reason i've decided to do this is because i've tested storm of armadyl on my 109 and it seems to be pretty good however id rather have a higher defence and lower
combat plus somebody inspired me.

If you would like to help me make this account quicker feel free to buy any of these accounts. It would speed up the process a lot as I can buy skills quicker such as herblore and prayer.

I will update this thread once everyday with a new picture of my stats.

Currently: Getting 60 magic by using fist of guthix. Also getting 50 woodcutting before posting new picture.

Currently: Tried 60 magic got bored, just finishing off 60 woodcutting, 62 fishing and 60 cooking. I haven't posted any new pictures since I haven't been playing much.

Haven't posted a picture in 10 days, have been trying to get my mining up and it wasn't worth posting a picture until atleast 60 so here you go

I'm almost done with mine somewhat; however, curse of arrav needs 66 thieving not 64. Could be wrong and you could use a drink to boost it, but I would get 66 to not have to worry about it.

 

nice start on the defence, good luck with the account man

 

Can't remember when you need thieving in curse of arrav however i'm sure I used a bandits brew for it the last couple times I did the quest.

65 mining, 11 more levels to go, might get 85 so I can mine runite ore for a decent income.

 

Don't waste your time, mining runite is like 500k/h max. Which is terrible.

 

Good luck man, i've been trying to decide whether to make my new account SoA tank or Berserker turmoil.

Tough decisions :-/

 

Waste of time making a berserker turmoil pure. I've made a couple before. My first one was a month after turmoil came out, it owned pretty bad since nobody has turmoil however it's just pointless getting it now since every zerker has turmoil. I'd advise making a tank with rigour since they pretty much rape zerkers easily and you risk around 80-90k per fight.

 

There's a mountain of quests still to go, but your getting there

 

Yeah however i've done all of these quests on my main account so it isn't anything new, the only thing I haven't done is while guthix sleeps and ritual of the maharajaht so i'm looking forward to doing them. Currently i'm getting the skill requirements and combat requirements so I can actually do the quests with little trouble.

The main trouble will be hunter, summoning and agility. Mining isn't too bad since I can easily get 20k experience an hour in free to play, probably will get members once I get 50 runecrafting, 50 magic and 71 firemaking since it makes no difference if I'm p2p or not in experience per hour with the exception of Camelot teleporting however i plan on low alching to 55.

 

Im also in the process of making a range/mage tank, although I don't have the patience for all of the questing/skilling to get storm of armadyl.

I believe you need to of finished While Guthix Sleeps before you can do Ritual of the Mahjarrat. But Goodluck, Ive almost reached this goal myself.

 

I've decided i'm only posting screenshots if it's worth it, if I've gained no levels then there's no point in posting a screenshot. I'm 39k until 70 mining. Screenshot will come in an hour or so, i'll be 76 mining by the end of the week

Just finishing off 76 mining then getting 50 runecraft. After 50 runecraft i'll do all free to play quests, After that i'll get 40 smithing (Family crest, gold smith gauns) and 71 firemaking, I will then make myself members to get the requirements for elite seers diary so I have 2x the likelyhood of using a bolt special.

I plan on doing a lot of achievement diary's on this account and plan on getting an ardy cape 4 because it looks l33t.
