What if...

What if RuneScape had races. When you start the game you could choose a race such a Goblin,Human,Troll,Dwarf,Gnome,Undead,Orge,Skeleton

 

Then it would be following the roles of world of warcraft so it wouldnt be needed?

 

Not really dude, in rs you actually interact with them quite alot. And why not be one?

 

Runescape is too much like wow as it is, i don't want it to be even more like it.

 

Well not really, all MMORPG games have about the same concept

 

Would completely ruin it more than it even is.

Wouldn't improve it at all, we already have World of Warcraft for that type of thing.

 

For my part, I only enjoyed playing runescape in 2006, So I dont think we need any race things.

Why stop at cars? Might as well also add some guns.

 

It would be sort of interesting.... I remember back when you created a character in RS classic and you could choose your character type during the creation process. Your choices were something like: wizard, warrior, ranger, and depending on what you chose you started out with certain combat items to match.

I think having different races & character classes would be kind of cool, and would probably make a big difference in how the game progresses, and the types of things and abilities your character is able to do etc, but I also think RS is the way it is for a specific reason.

The one nice thing about all starting out equally, as human characters, is that nobody has any sort of advantage over another person when they begin the game. We all are the same, have equal abilities, and progress at the same rates as each other through the game.

Runescape keeps updating enough as it is, introducing new classes swings towards other mmos such as WOW or Lord of the Rings. Jagex should keep things they way they are in my opinion lol.

 

That really would make the game RuinedScape. I like it how for certain quests you have to change into a goblin etc, but having it 24/7 would be ridiculous, as well as annoying :3

 

but non the less, it would be pretty cool
