I don't really see the point of the wireframe. How does it help?
Also, I should point out that on the Motext object menu, if you change the point style, you can make ti a grid instead of of random polygons

 

It's a "text effect" - it's there to look good. I don't really understand what "How does it help?" is trying to get across, it's text.

 

By how does it help, I mean that in the end it's almost impossible to see

also, that thing I was talking about:

Raising the subdivision makes the wireframe go in depth
(under the Caps menu)


Results in a more Wire-frame look

And I realized I sounded like a dick in my reply, I was just trying to say that what I was doing was the effect I was trying to achieve, it's a subtle look, but it's really popular within the "gaming graphics community" on YouTube.
