Yo I would'nt use Epicbot...

I've been looking and following the botting scene for some time and I recently read that Injection which is what these bots are, are actually illegal. Um so me being me I uninstalled the shit and am sticking to RuneDream. They are developing a system to do Random Events, and eventually will become the best RS bot around and the best part is, it's Advance Color therefore 100% legal. ..... But they need a Less CPU update lol

No, actually any client that loads RS to RAM that isn't approved as a client by Jagex = against the law (Digital Millenium Copyright Act). ANY bot, any client that loads RS outside of the official Jagex page, or a client that is not officially approved by Jagex = illegal.

The same thing applies to this as did to the case against a client maker for WoW, who got sued and lost because the court determined that the client loaded WoW to RAM and that since it was not approved by Blizzard, it was illegal and violated copyright.

EDIT: You may try and mention Swiftkit, but you may be unaware of the fact that Swiftkit actually was nearly sued by Jagex, and that people were banned for using it when it was first released. The developers of Swiftkit met with Jagex, and came up with a legal agreement.

 

Color bots suck nuff said. They are so slow and hardly work good enough. /close

Just because you're incompetent at running Simba/RD doesn't mean they suck.

Maybe if you learned how to write a script for Simba you'd understand that SRL is a lot more powerful than you think. Just because you ran a crappy script that's more than likely outdated doesn't mean everything sucks.

I've written a GE flipping script for Simba and it's currently making me 800k-1.1m/hr. Just goes to show how advanced colour actually is.

while ref/inj is JaGex's biggest target the colour community will just keep laughing. ^_^

RuneDream isn't as advanced as Simba/SRL so in time I hope it becomes a succesful client but right now they have a lot of catching up to do.

 

No, color bots require a human level of I.Q. to run, you evidently do not meet these requirements.

That's right. SRL is Jagex's favorite enemy; we've been playing cat and mouse long before any other bot you know ever existed. If it weren't for the SRL community, the Jagex would simply get bored. We still hold respect for their team of developers, unlike ALL of these other botting communities, and we're always up for the challenge of whatever they throw our way. We'll be waiting...

Injection is the way to go, but SRL is something that is hard to get rid of. but laggy as hell.

No bot is legal... we use them anyways.

 

The chances of getting busted are less than that of the FBI busting through your front door after downloading a song.

 

I think Jagex stopped Epicbot already, so don't worry about it

Jagex isn't going to sue you. Don't worry. I didn't think anyone fell for that scare tactic.

 

Injection techniques aren't illegal providing you don't distribute Jagex's code, which none of these bots do.

They are bad practice however, because injection bots rely on searching for patterns in code every time that the game updates, these patterns could change or become useless at any point in time which can cause problems.

 

Rarebot is the best bot atm i think.
