These remind me those first F2P K0s and low level pking @ edge, back in the days ofcourse

 

Remember level 8-15 mages completely owning wildy?

Remember "xxxxxx is shooting at you!"?

Remember selling trout and salmon for 100gp each on the edge of wildy?

God I miss RSC lol. The only thing I'm never going to miss about that game is that it was absolute hell to level haha.

 

Remember when someone considered themselves as a veteran player if they started in 2001 and not 2009?? ( I started 2003 )

 

Remember when you created a new character and were in lummy and EVERYONE was a new player just like you!

Remember when people claimed they were Jmods and that you had to give them your pass?

Remember when it was really hard to get Adamant armour and you could be proud having the full set.

Remember when you filled a inventory of cow hides and sold that 150gp ea in a bank? and got 3k for it?

and finally.. remember when you could see red dots on the minimap and they could be cool stuff people dropped.. (i remember in late 2005, recently after i started, running to all the red dots on the minimap checking if it was something worthwhile) (in 2006 I found a rune axe on the floor and was really happy!)

Remember when the Scimitars actually looked like Scimitars?

Remember when you had to walk to Al Kharid and make 10gp to get a Steel / mithril plateskirt? ^^

Remember when a group of players would call items that a near dying player would have, and then everyone would end up spam clicking on the items anyway.

When I played the game because I truly wanted to have fun, not because I felt obliged to level up.

When I was proud to where armour that I made from scratch.

Gaining so much respect in the Fifth grade for having 22k.

Seeing other players magically getting the items below the bank in Varrock and thinking how rich they must be.

When furies were 2m and barrows didn't look like shit

Remember when if you wanted to team with someone in the wilderness you would just say team, and most of the time you wouldn't get bsed?

 

Remember those amazing things called unids, that you'd buy to attempt to get XP? Also, as well as that, avoiding people scamming saying the unids were level xx ones, when they were really low level, but they had 1 herblore -.-

 

I remember when after logging into runescape there would be no 'Login welcome' Screen.

 

oh god yes. I loved sitting watching the store for a bargain to pop up haha. There used to be heaps of rune meds and daggers and cheap runes

 

Remember when Santa hats were commonly traded at $2 million each?

 

Remember when rangers used Magic Shortbows?

Yeah, back then there were no rune crossbows that can potentially deal 600+ Damage. It was more on skill, now it's luck.
