How much longer do you think this shitty game is going to last?

I made a thread earlier about RS being fucking gay now, it's just gone so downhill since '07, and I know games change and evolve, and I love that, trust me.. I absolutely fucking love updates, but when Jagex raises membership prices from 4.95$ to $8, and makes updates that basically make F2p practically useless, and popping "buy membership to use this feature" on your screen, is just fucking ridiculous.

Plus, Fagex is releasing so many untested fucking updates and they have so many untested glitches, and the innocent players who actually work they're asses off getting a partyhat or something else will just lose to a fucking glitch and Fagex/Failgex says they are not responsible. I personally gave away 850M to some random kid, and sold off 1.3B for $.65/m.

I give RS a year max, this game is shit and the people that play now are different, it's true that change is good, but this is just fucking terrible. RuneScape isn't worth playing anymore.

I've tried so many MMO's, even WoW and I just feel out of place cause I loved RS so much, but now it's just a glorified chat room TBH..Ain't that a bitch?

I have no one to even interact with on RS nowadays, all these 12 year old pre pube faggots always talking shit online, "nerd" "fuck off fag" "gtfo fag", etc. You just get so lost wondering what the game's community has turned into :/

RS and it's company is money hungry now, probably cause of the fact that they're ugly ass fuckers who can't get laid so trying to lure more pre pubescent players will get them enough money to fuck whores with their 4 inch dicks.

Even a RS Mod got demodded for standing up for himself and saying how shitty the game has become..Are you fucking serious Fagex? Freedom of speech?

So yeah, I've tried to sell my accounts, Maxed 1 Def and a Maxed 75 def but no one even wants to buy it, so I'm probably going to give it away to my friend and ruin his life.

First of all, grow the fuck up. If you don't like it, don't play it. Simple as that.
It's sad you try to shit talk the developers of the game you are so clearly addicted to you had to make a thread about it. I won't lie saying the game is at it's prime, it's not. I liked it better back in the day, but grow up and learn to live with it.

 

Membership for me still costs around $4... certain methods are cheaper, some are more expensive for certain reasons.

The game is dying? No it ain't. They simply removed botting and cheating, so that makes it a bad game? The players who actually play are loving this, as the game is now not fully ran by bots. The game was at an awful stage before the bot nuke, as places where over crowded with bots.

The game is still the same for me. Sure they had some bad updates on the way, but they had their reasons. The game has improved and it is still the same game to me.

Imo, rs is pretty much at its peak once they get rid of some flawed mechanics, nuke bots+cheating, and graphically update some stuff (which they are already doing atm).

 

I think at least 5 more years.

 

I personally think Runescape will last another 2-3 years. The old community is disappearing day by day and with the cost increase to play the game, more people are turning to other MMOs.

 

Well i would say the game has a bit longer as there is always atleast 70k people playing the game. Also the reason you probably hate is because you can`t bot any more so you are forced to play legit or quit .

Please tell me how membership costs you $4, even if you started membership in '04 it has gone up for everyone. Jagex made it so if you take a 7 day break from buying membership you prices raise to $7.95. I don't think everyone has a continous membership plan like you do. Not everyone is a rich white kid from the suburbs like yourself.

Runescape is going to last a while. Their new updates make it fanatic and very appealing to new players, which allows them to compete with other high-end MMORPG's. I personally think RS is FANTASTIC at the moment. Sure the community fucking blows, that's obvious - but that's how it is for every online-style game...

 

Runescape won't last? You got to be kidding. Similarly, like you, i thought that Runescape wouldn't last. Look at 2007, after free trade, staking and pking were removed. All the chaos, 'riots', protests, promises to quit Runescape... But look what happened? Some quit, others remained playing and more new members joined the game.

I've seen countless of people whine over how the game has changed, how it is different, how much they dislike it now. But look at them, aren't they still playing the game?

Runescape is a very unique game, very special. The moment you start to get hooked onto the game, you probably will for a long, long time. Because the game is never-ending, and you always will want more. Furthermore, the players adapt to the change.

Runescape will last for many more years, many many more years... But that being said, Runescape is way different from before, and to the older players ( like me ) it is probably very shitty.

The old runescape was the best, i still miss it, and always will..

 

I have to agree with how terribly the community has gone downhill. Just yesterday I got crashed about 9685738583 times at Bandos by a bunch of kids, and they were so godamned rude.

Kids nowadays can't just rush in with their teams and crash you (I was expecting it and prepared to leave and go to another boss without a big fight), but instead they had to rush in uttering an endless stream of insults and profanities. But why? I just don't understand why that is even necessary...

I guess I have to forgive them though, as they were likely 12 year old nerds, fat, pimply, with raw skin on their penises from fapping so hard all day long. I just happened to be the guy they took it out on.
