What are the best ways to secure an account?

I just bought an account and I want to do everything possible to secure it.
What are some of the things I should do in order to get it as secured as possible?

I've already registered the account to my email and changed it from his.
Put in a request to change the recoveries, and set a bank pin.

Is there anything else I can do?

What are the best ways to secure an account?

You can't really secure it 100% because he is the original IP and could always recover the account.

What are the best ways to secure an account?

Is it an E-mail login, username login or a fake E-mail login?

What are the best ways to secure an account?

Well, you won't be able to recover it back. However, a registered E-mail could help.

Did you buy it from a trusted Sythe member?

I hope he told you the truth. :) If he did, you'll be able to recover it back after a few months of playing.

    Who was the seller?

Pretty pointless trying to secure it because no matter what if the original owner wants the account back he can recover it whether it be tomorrow or 10 years from now he will always be able to recover it no matter what, that's why buying accounts is the dumbest thing you can possibly do.

To add on to what they said, post on the forums that you hve just moved and that this is our home ip. Say that you suspect there is a runescape player in your old house and that if they get ahold of your info (possibly piece of paper lying around house) they could recover it. Request that they call your IP the origional IP

What are the best ways to secure an account?

As others have said above, the first and best thing you can do to have a secure account is to buy from a trusted user. Then, set recovery questions, change the e-mail to yours, and set a bank pin. Also, make sure he gave you accurate information about the account.

What are the best ways to secure an account?

Change recoveries, email, password, time, along with closeness to the person you bought it from.

What are the best ways to secure an account?

In my past experiences, the best way to secure a account is the recoveries, changing the passwords several times after you get it and play on it for a LONG time.

What are the best ways to secure an account?

As long as you have an email registered, you will almost always be able to recover the account. This doesn't stop the original owner from recovering it again though. You can just recover it again as long as you have an email registered.
