runescape is dead. that's the simple truth of it. in its prime (2004-2007), it was the damn best game i've ever played. so many good memories playing runescape... but the damage has been done. really sad, but that's what it is.

 

First video I've ever watched over 15 minutes.


This is the best way to put it. RuneScape is a perfect case of Humanity taking advantage of something and milking every last drop from it.

At one point, coming on and mining Rune Essence, making like 20,000 GP a day, was a phenomenal feeling. Now, you'd have to run 10 Rune Ess bots to be satisfied and sell your GP.

Just a good example that this is on us. GF RS

OT: Interesting idea suggested in the YT comment of having a "World 2007", although it would simply be a whole 'new' game of RuneScape, a current example being RSC.

I also miss those days in RuneScape before 2007, however for me it's not because of the Wilderness change(s) and update(s).

Not a bad video though.
