Virus?

I downloaded EPICBOT from this thread: http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1348518

I thought it was just a site so I clicked, but it downloaded immediately. I removed it right way and didn't opened it. I'm I safe now?

If you didn't open it then you should be safe, it's not 100% confirmed it's anything dodgy although it does look very suspicious.

 

Ok thx for reply! I'm running an SUPERantispyware scan and then spybot S&D scan. Hope It won't find anything bad..

 

If you didn't open the file then you should be fine, make sure you delete it though.

If you didn't open it, then there's no way it could have run and got into your system.

 

Just go to msconfig and make sure nothing suspicious is on your start-up.

 

Only thing I find suspicious are VIAAD and F5D7050v3. You know what they are?

 

Not everything appears in msconfig on start up. Like I said, if you didn't open it then you should be fine, if you are paranoid of something then I would recommend Malwarebytes.

And don't click random links, especially at sythe...
Only place you should download anything is from the official sites and never download anything runescape related from file uploading sites.

 

You most likely have some keylogger or rant. Dont log into rs. Check you computer for shit. I would reinstall my windows if i were you. Gl and dont dl from newcommers...

 

Just google it. There exist extensive archives for the sole purpose of process-identification.
