Allow title change

I don't see why we shouldn't be allowed to :s?

 

Title changes, like in threads.

It has been suggested before, but I believe it is considered to be a "Staff Power" which is on the DNS list.

Although this would be a helpful tool for most people, it could be abused very easily. If someone is covering up a scam, a thread title change would make it that much easier for them to do. If they could change the thread's title and contents, there could be no proof of them even wanting to make a transaction at all, which would cause problems in a scam report.

 

x339 is right, I think thread title changes is something that only staff members should be able to do.
This means it's 'Staff Power', and quoting from the DNS-List;Staff powers for non-staff members.
So it's probably not going to be implented, although I could support it as it's quite handy.
It could be abused for scamming though, and that's probably the main reason why it isn't going happen.

Threads' titles

 

Either of these three are not viable suggestions and will be denied.
