Vouches for free services

I'm pretty sure vouches for free services aren't allowed. Such as free skilling services for a vouch, free firecapes, free torso's, free accounts or anything free really. I've seen quite a lot people recently that have been using vouches for free services in their vouch threads. I haven't been able to find the exact rule that stats you can't have vouches for free services - but I am pretty sure that rule exists.

However, this would also mean that you can't vouch for someone that has been your MM as the MM is basicly some sort of free service. Can anyone explain the situation?

 

You can still have vouches for free services. They just aren't worth anything when totaling the wealth among your vouches.

 

A vouch shows you're trustworthiness, and when you succesfully completed a (free) order for someone, without taking his account/stuff, you can be awarded with one.
Same goes for MiddleManning.

I don't see any harm in this.

Okay I wasn't sure. I've seen multiple threads being closed because of offering free accounts/services for vouches.

 

You're not allowed to word it so that you require a vouch afterwards. You are, however, allowed free services, and ask for a vouch in return, out of the kindness of the client's heart.

 

A vouch isn't standardized by Sythe. Anyone can leave a vouch for anything, really. It's up to the reader to interpret whether it's valuable.
But yes, you are not allowed to require a vouch for any trade whatsoever.
