I need my name changed on RS now

Guys, i REALLY need to have my name changed on rs, but i need to wait 3 more weeks. I'm bored of my name and want it changed.

Since my name has an offensive word in it i think i can get it changed via someone reporting me.

But on the other hand , i have been botting and breaking the rules a bit recently.

So the question really is, is it safe to get reported for an offensive name and not have jagex catch onto my botting?

 

I don't think they look in depth to your account's activity, I'm pretty sure they just change your name so your most likely safe.

 

I'm just guessing here, but they might mute you if you get reported enough. (Did you get this idea from the old xbox trick to change your name?)

you dont get muted either, if your name is offensive it just gets changed to random letters/numbers like "A4rskgh215" so you have to make a new name to access your account again

 

Just wait up and change your name.

 

Even if you do get reported, the most they'll do is probably just order a name change for you. I doubt they would go over the account for botting.

 

They won't look at the botting.
