Jagex' logic

after being on this game for almost 11 years you begin to just roll with the punches, you'll rage, then just move on.

 

If they hadn't changed the graphics people would still be all like "Oh, why do yo play that shit? WoW looks so much better..."

At least now nobody can say that anymore.

 

I tried to make a new account to try to play like I did when I was a noob back in the beta, and I just couldn't. Everything is too different.

 

I've never played wow and never played rs in optimal graphics settings, but don't wow and other mmos still shit all over rs in terms of graphics?

The only way to truely quit is if you get something else to fill the void known as runescape.
I quit but I might come back as soon as BH is back in business.

Would you do any differently? They'll attract more players with these new updates than they would by reverting back to the older days. The thousands of newfag players would cry there heart out.

But still, yeh it sucks. I wish we could go back to the good ol' days.

I guarantee if JaGex didn't do regular updates we would see pointless threads here saying "How come Runescape doesn't look as good as everything else". If you don't like it, don't play it.

 

I agree with jagex. We need new monsters and some of items and quests. But what we dont need is that constant lagg and low fps.

 

I sure do miss the good old days, everytime I go on runescape I keep having to adapt to the new graphics every month...

 

You guys are comparing this to other MMO's but the whole style of the game is different. Don't act like your so smart.

 

Regardless of the update, you will hate it. That is law.

It is just done to make the game feel fresh. I sure as hell wouldnt like the graphics reverted back to what it was in 2005-2006.

 

I think they are bringing in a 10 year vet cape for real vets.
