Your most heartbreaking moment.

Probably the day I went from 2.3bill to 50mill thanks to staking :S

 

One day before the GE, like around 2006, I got scammed my full rune (g) through the trade screen. That was a lot then.

Another time later, 3 of my only accounts were perm banned in the same week for macroing, and I really wanted to quit.

I wasn't rich! I spent many hours before hand merchanting in World 1 to pay for that set.

 

Anyone else buy gnomeballs? Before I knew how to get them I thought they were so rare. Then I merched them.

 

My most heartbreaking memory is when my original main was banned for botting back in 08'. I quit for two years after that. I still have hopes I will be able to get it back.

Back in '06 a buddy (non-irl) and I both managed to acquire rune skimi's <3(OMG) - we decided to go the wildy and hit eachother for a while. Went pretty deep and then did it for about 20 minutes. Got Pwn'd by two mages

Im going to switch this around a bit, I myself have had many heartbreaking moments. But this story is about me being on the receiving end.

I was attempting to sell my mask for a decent profit in the area were all the rares are sold and all of a sudden i see a pile of money appear right next to me.
I happen to click it instantly and check my inventory, i had just picked up 300M
It was dropped on accident by a player merching white party hats, He had just gotten a random even where he got a sapphire and accidently dropped the money instead of the gem

 

Wow, that's a HUGE amount back then. What did you end up doing with it?

 

This was at like 2 in the morning on a school night i was in highschool then I PMed everyone that was online on my friendlist bought them all furys, i used the money to get 2 accounts 99 mage super quick, and get alot of other skills up, Sold alot of it, then staked with the rest of it. Left me with some awesome accounts, and returned a good profit in staking

 

proabably eating about 15-20 easter eggs at easter instead of keeping them because i heard they 'melted' after a while. woops : /
