    Posting Personal Information?

I was reading the rules the other day and wanted clarification on the

rule above. The reason I ask is because I see lots of scammer reports with people posting personal information I doubt the defendant would consent to.

Here is one example where he puts the buyers: paypal address, transaction id, and personal email. (I don't support scamming just want clarification about how the rule works.)

It's allowed. In court if the defendant is a suspected child pronographer the prosection is allowed to show the pictures from the defendants computer to help their case. So if we take that example on sythe to prove a scam occured it's fine.

Wierd example but I think it works.

I am fine with it being there to shame/blacklist the person who scammed but I think it should not be visible to the public, since people can make false accusations, till an admin confirms a scam. What if the buyer is using a private paypal that he does not want anyone to know of and there is a misunderstanding(paypal holds the payment for w.e reason) and the person files a scam report and leaks his personal information.

Well if you lie in court, you can counter sue for damages to your image/time/etc but here there is no accountability(very little atleast) of the person filing the scam report.

Rule is fine, Whats with the over speculation or trying to best our rules, you know perfectly well what the rule means, you dont have to try and find loopholes like real law.

    Do something productive.
