What's the bot nuke?

I haven't played in years, and was wondering, what is the bot nuke? I'm hearing everywhere like it's something, amazing. Jw, what is it ?

 

It was an update in runescape that wiped out injection bots and resulted in many accounts being banned.

 

The poster above pretty much covered it , but now the only bots that work and are trusted are color bots which can be found in the sticky at the top of the page, also RiD works, but it's not free and I heard it sucked.

 

It was an update aimed to stop reflection/injection bots.
No accounts were banned as a result, the bots were just broken.
Also a few months after the nuke Jagex sued/threatened to sue all of the remaining injection/reflection bots which is why almost all (public ones) are gone now.
