Do your friends think that Runescape is for Nerds?

i think 98% of my friends have never even heard of runescape tbh.

 

Anyone that i hang out with probably knows but they just say what ev you know?

 

Eh, my friends know that I bot on the game, and they also know it paid for my car and a variety of other things.

Frankly, they could care less.

 

They wouldn't care, and even if they did speak up about it then they are on World of Warcraft 24/7 so they can't talk.

 

My friends would lash me, but they know I've made money from it, and because of that, they are in awe of my RS prowess. But they still dislike the game :3

 

No one gives a shit now a days. I bet half the people who would make fun of you actually play RuneScape/World of Warcraft/any other "nerdy" MMO anyways. No lifing call of duty is no different from playing RuneScape in my opinion.
but yeah, most of my friends occasionally still play.

My friends played the game also, but now they all stopped.
They don't care if I still play
But I'm gonna quit this game really soon, it's really boring when you already achieved most of your goals....

 

Very nice responses everybody, it seems to me that everyone is either in one of two situations. 1: Me and my friends used to play but now they quit and I'm the only one who plays anymore. 2:They can't say anything abotu cause I'm making cash from it

 

Lol same situation bro, they thought i quit like 2 years ago. Only quit for a year and still addicted to this shit. It's annoying but one of my friends actually wants to get into as he plays Skyrim. They make fun of the graphics the most, and they don't understand how that makes no effect on a player.

 

From all the irl money from paypal and the paypal checks I get.. my parents don't care.. #gas money. And my friends well i would never hear end of it.

 

I really don't play RS anymore, haven't got on it in a long time. However, at my school any and all online games like RS, WOW, LoL, etc = auto nerd.

All of my friends have played it when they were younger, but now they hate it... I have to keep it a secret :c

 

My good freinds know. But randoms that we meet at parties and stuff will never know. I could care less, they got their hobbies and I got mine.

 

All of my good friends know. My wife knows. Who cares ? No one gives me shit for it. Most of my friends played it in the past. One or two still do.
I've played this game for a decade+ now.

My friends sort of laugh at Runescape in a playful, joking way, but it doesn't bother me.

When it comes down to it, I am NOT a big gamer at all, and in the last 6 years I have played very little video games... RS is the only game that I play right now, and although my friends don't play RS, they all play MULTIPLE other games on both PC & consoles.

Once I point out the fact that they spend much more time gaming than me on a weekly basis, they are all pretty quick to shut up

My friends and I all used to play together years ago. When they all quit I carried on playing; I always had the best characters anyway. None of them know I play, I want to keep it that way. I enjoy playing though, so I don't mind
