My Runescape staking addiction

Well about a year ago i would say was my staking prime i got lucky i guess you could say got to 200m boxed 200m won 400m to 800m and got up to a purple phat then staked up to a yellow phat then sold the yellow to try to get a green i got cleaned down to a 100m then decided to just use the 100m for prayer, anyway since that day i have bought from gold farming sites for as long as it can be whether it be gold4rs rswalmart, igxe playerauctions i have no clue to how to stop


this is from one site alone called igxe $711 spent i have no clue how much i've spent on other sites probably a total of 5k+
anyhow any other stakers out there.. how have you quit? i'm at 50k rs bank and whenever i'm not at work and have nothing better to do i just want to get money to stake.

 

Either you have rich parents, assuming you're young. Or, I need to know how you make your money.

 

lol nah i'm 18 i get around $200 a week working at a grocery store and usually half goes towards my addiction i needa get my account banned or some shit

 

Find a new hobby, get a busy lifestyle.

Then you won't have time for staking and over time you won't be addicted.

 

sell your rs account, then you'll atleast get some money back.

 

i decided to take more classes at school and more shifts at work
social life is fucked, bank is also fucked, but at least i don't stake AS MUCH as i used to

all good advice, i have to wait until next semester to start college so atm maybe i should get another job but still when i get my paycheck i have enough money to get what i want + pay my phone bill then i always have left over i could put it in a bank account i guess and save it
i should sell my rs account but i never really wanted to have to sell it because no matter what i always have some spare time to get bored i have xbox live but that gets boring eventually, so rs is something nice to do but with no money it sucks idk. some how i gotta get over this and realize im wasting my irl cash for virtual goods just to see it disappear within 30 seconds

 

work more hours and save your money. start smoking weed

 

Spend that hundred dollars on something irl save for something you want.

 

Wow, you need to slowly stop and since it is affecting your life outside runescape I would try to quit runescape.

 

I was (still am) addicted to dicing, I would also like to know how to stop. Some people say set limits but I find it hard

 

Close your paypal account. Also, block payment sites from your internet and get a friend to set a password to access those sites that you dont know.

 

Just buy a bunch of gold and stop staking enjoy being rich you don't really need bills to have fun.

 

Give me your RS account, I'll get it perm banned, fully reset so you wont even want to visit RS again . To be honest, that's a shitload of cash to spend on a game, the best way to get rid of an addiction is play another game or find something to do instead of runescape.

 

Start playing another game where you cannot P2P or you can't buy money for it etc.
For example, buy an Xbox and play Call of Duty, if you like that. Or even find a new hobby, you could even get a family member to make a bank account where you don't know the details and make sure your money goes straight there so you can't get it out. There's many ways.

 

I was addicted to staking also, it started from that someone hacked my account
I've made 1m by unicorn healing scrolls and started staking again.
Went up from 1m to 700m (thats kinda amazing for me) and then i had bad luck and lost 11 times in a row. I got cleaned for my cash and whole bank .. Then i started PvMing and now my bank wealth is worth at least few B.

I don't recommend staking or dicing.. Its 100% sure that you'll lose your money some day.
