How do you remove the recoveries on an account?

I checked the sticky and it's a little out of date im wondering if there is a more current version to this?

 

Do an account recovery appeal, tick the "I did not set recoveries" and then appeal it .

As far as I know, the sticky guide still works. It worked for me when I needed it, although that was about a month ago. Also if the stick is outdated, you should tell a mod...

 

i think the sticky is out dated i just tried it and it restored my account but kept them
