Unable to Log In

I'm trying to log into RS right now, but when I do it says,"Unable to connect: login server offline." Also, the amount of people online is gradually dropping. Is Jagex trying to update the game right now or is something else going on? I'd appreciate any information that you guys could share.

 

it's just the servers, some ppl in irc can get in others can't i'm logging in just fine, serval diff times, just keep reloading, and re-trying.

Are people also getting kicked offline because the players online dropped from around 84,000 to 73,000 in around 5 minutes or so.

 

Well I can login fine . Maybe it is just your connection or something playing up? or maybe it is just some glitch

Knowing Jagex they will get it fixed as we are speaking .

I'm having the same problem right now. Jagex is likely having server problems or had to shut down a bunch of servers for emergency maintenance.

 

This is happening to me also, i would think they are trying to re-vamp some of the new updates? idk but i really hope this stops soon because i want to play RS! For some reason my friends still able to login to RS tho on his PC but i cant on mine o.o

 

This happened to me at around 5:20pm just about 2 hours exactly. Seems Jagex Servers all have been interrupted since numbers increased.

 

i think if your logged in your fine but if your trying to then were gonna have to wait it out. im in dd irc and everyone is saying they cant get on either.

I cant get on either. "server error" only 14k people on now...

 

guys the servers are obvisoulsy down. don't need to keep saying the same thing..

Yeah I'm having the same problem.
Trying to login, and it just says "unable to connect to server"
Been like that for over an hour now for me.

I thought I was the only one experiencing this. I assumed my internet had problems, but I thought, how come Sythe is working.

While checking the New Posts, I see this. Guess it's good to know that it wasn't only me.

 

Will be fixed in 30-60minutes.
