Requesting a Sticky

I feel there should be a sticky in the "Sythe Support" section regarding Name Changes. I always see people requesting name changes, and I feel a Sticky there will help reduce those threads.

 

This is already mentioned in the FAQ, although im sure not everyone reads that.

I don't think it's enough of a problem to make a sticky though.

I know it's stated in the rules, but what makes you think newcomers read the rules? I feel the sticky should just contain the section from the rules regarding name changes. Wouldn't be too hard to imply.

 

Why don't we just make a sticky for all the rules then?

There is no need for it. If a newcomer doesn't read the rules, and they get infracted, its their own fault.

 

Don't you have to read the rules before you are able to sign up? Don't recall as it's been a while since I signed up lol.

Anyway the issue is handled so quickly I don't think it warrants a sticky.

 

When I signed up back in August, I didn't have to read the rules. But I guess with this suggestion, it can go either way. Up to whatever mod reads this.

 

I'll add a sticky because there is a thread like that almost every day but I don't know how much it'll help. /Thread.
