!!! Please Help Asap !!!

I restarted my comp and now it will not load into windows. I cannot start in safe mode, I cannot get it to start anyway at all (it wont boot) I dont have the original os disk or anything and this is a custom built comp... what can I do? can I master reset the whole thing? IDC if I lose everything saved. I just want my comp working again! is there a way I can whipe everything, or another way I can install another free os and then it will work from only the boot menu? I'm so confused right now! Been searching all over online for a few hours now and I can't find anything that will work

thanks for the reply. I can get to almost everything atm like with the f8 ect but when I try to restore to previous point it says it cant. I've gone through most the options I can find (i'm not super good with computers) tried all ways of starting it and nothing. I get the basic run of the mill start up and everything then it says starting windows or whatever it will sit there a minute with the windows 7 thing and then it just restarts. I managed to get a blue screen up by "disable automatic restart on system failure" through the f8 button and it says this exactly at the point where you would normally log on and what not, also where it has been shutting off.
"STOP: c000021a {fatal system error}
The initial session process or system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0x00000000 (0xc0000001 0x00100400).
The system has been shut down.

 

Ok, before you freak out.
Please provide me the following information.
Dose the Bios screen comes up?
Do you have any important data?
Are you good with computer hardware?
Do you have access to a CD burner and a blank CD?
Right now it seems that you are able to access the F8 so Ill say the motherboard bios is still fine. You will require access to a OS drive no matter what.
Heres the few possible problems that you could have.
1. Faulty Ram Cards
2. Corrupted Hard drive/sectors
3. Corrupted OS

1. To make sure you don't have any corrupted Ram cards, open up your case and remove each ram cards and placing them back in to check your system, look for a faulty Ram card.

2. If you have a corrupted Hard drive if hard to know until you tries to format the hard drive. Get a OS drive, place it in your CD/DVD reader, boot your system with CD/DVD as first priority and format the Hard Drive. Some times the Hard drive cannot be read and will not show up on the motherboard.

3.This is the most common problem and can be solved with a OS drive and then reinstalling the OS. No buggy other than loosing all your data.

To slowly solve your problem, first get a access to a OS drive, place it in your CD/DVD reader. Then boot into your BIOS screen, change the boot priority to CD/DVD as first. Restart your PC and the Cd/DVD should boot. Continue the setup and then choose the format the Hard drives, after the drives is reformatted, continue to install the OS. If you have problems finishing these steps you can message me.

 

It may be a bit of an obvious one, but does your motherboard have a secondary bios switch, or a clear CMOS button on board? If so try and boot with that. It could be something as simple as ram incompatibility or an issue with the mobo firmware. Try out what HEHEGG said and if it doesn't help you, then it may be worth ringing the shop that built it and see if you can grab up an install disc.

 

Thanks for the replies. I can get into bios I believe (where I can pick where to boot from and all that other junk on there) my hard drive still turns on and runs fine. I currently only have one ram stick left 2g the other one burnt out or something a while back, and I believe it is the corrupted windows problem. But I don't know how to boot it from what you are saying or do the burnable disk thing. Is there a way I can download an OS onto a jump drive and then do it like that with my computer? I'm really not that good with all this technical stuff. sorry :| I could understand this better over chat or something if anyone could help that way please pm me! But I'm really curious about the jump drive to load an OS onto even if it's not W7.

 

installed ubuntu after loading it onto a cd from another computer and now this computer works!

 

good to hear is working again, you can fix every nearly every software problem with a OS disk.
