Someone hacked my account - Need advice

Ok so i've been hacked twice now and idk how.

I've already recovered it and need advice on how to secure it.

My recoveries are from 2008 i have a email on it. What do i do so i don't get hacked again?

I'm going to change my password on my ipad on the off chance i do have a keylogger. I don't think i have a keylogger but who knows.

He put membership on it so he'll have newer membership details if he tries to recover it.

Dude was playing on it like i wouldn't recover it aswell 6m worth of dbones and green d hides.

 

Use a different computer (on a different wifi I would recommend) change the password, and change your email password. Check the computer you were using, run scan checks I suggest malware bites, its free. See if anything comes up. If not have a at 'processes' (by going to task manger (Ctrl + Alt + Delete)) See if anything is using a unusually high CPU.

 

First scan your computer and check if you don't have a keylogger on it.

Are you the original owner? You should cancel the membership he just put on (especially if it is by card).

 

Yes i'm the original owner.

How do i cancel the membership on the new site? haven't even played runescape for a long time just went on for kicks today and see my password was changed.

 

Virus scan your computer....if you don't mind...just reboot the entire thing, change every information you can about your account and add a bank PIN and everytime before logging out, bank your items so nothing can be stolen.

Yes, it doesn't matter when it's from. Within those 4 years...you they could of gotten the recovery answers and now they're using it to their advantage...even if it's from 2001...which is 11 years ago.

Change it every so often...maybe a year or 6 months just to be on the safe site.

 

What i find odd if i was just keylogged, i wouldn't think they would play on it like they owned it.

 

Some people are odd, there's a chance someone you know know's your password.

 

Restore your computer to manufactured settings.

If you have anything important on there, put it on a usb or something.
