how is this rig?

just ordered it yesterday should be expecting it sometime next week.

SPECS:

will i be able to run games like bf3, mw3, arma2/3?

not too shabby, now all you need too make sure of is upgrade your video card and internet, those will be only fellers slowin ya down

 

MW3 will run with ease. BF3 probably low to medium settings, definitely nowhere near maxed out or anything though. Are you playing at 1080p?

 

6750 crossfire should run fine for BF3, you'll be able to do high settings without anti aliasing/shadow maps no doubt (its roughly equivalent of a 5850/5870, I'm using one 5850 atm and max out besides shadows and AA just fine, overclocked maybe 25% though).

MW3 isn't very demanding, considering it is based on an extremely old engine with console ported graphics. Easy maxing that out.

Arma 2/3 not sure about as I've never played. But basically you shouldn't have much trouble running stuff on a single screen with high settings.

 

Oh shit.. did not see that it was two 6750s. I retract my previous statement, it should be able to play at least high settings.

Personally I would have found a cheap 5850/5870 on ebay or a new 6870 since they're pretty damn cheap now. Then you eliminate any driver or stutter issues with crossfire, plus power and heat outputs. But if you already purchased it, then it'll have to do I guess.

 

I can run MW3 on High settings with my Acer Aspire 3 GB Ram, Battlefield 3 for you would probably be set on Medium settings.

 

Think you will have a comfortable fps around medium/low in Bf3.

got the machine today first time with a gaming rig so was suprised by how MASSIVE it was.

the shop that assembled it ran out of the CPU i ordered (6core amd phen 1100t) so they gave me a 8core amd fx-8120 along with a better motherboard to compensate.

cant complain there. also havent had the chance to install windows 7 on it as im having problems with burning it with my current system might break down and buy authentic copy. will update when its running.

the new motherboard is a Asrock 870iCafe

 

My laptop with an i7 2670 and a nvidia gt555m runs bf3 mAxed out with 40 fps so I'm not sure how you guys figure this rig wont run at more than medium

 

Yeah, BF3 is quite demanding. MW3 you should be getting very high FPS in single player. Although obviously you won't go above 90 FPS in multiplayer. If you OCed a bit, you could probably run BF3 a bit better.

 

At what... 720p? lol, 555m is not very good at all, I highly doubt you're running BF3 maxed out with that

 

Yeah shpuld ben able to run MW3 with ease due to it being on an old engine and battlefield 3 quite easily .
