Nautilus; OP by its very nature

Reading over information on the new champion-- nautilus-- and his abilites, I wager him to be astoundingly OP. Here's a C&P from the LoL webpage:

Let's start with his chasing abilities.
Passive: immobilize, self explanatory when you look at his Q; dredge: this and his passive makes him chasing-king. Q over walls or towards a fleeing enemy, hit with one basic attack, stunned, commence W E R; titan's wrath: I can only suspect that the lower his health is, the more damage he absorbs-- again the qualities of a chasing-king; Riptide: Slows, coupled with his Q and passive it would go a little something like Q to catch up, passive to stun, E to slow, W if they retaliate; Depth Charge: Stun. Surprise! Just another amazing chasing tool. Depending on whether it's aim and shoot, or a target ability-- and its range and damage-- I find this ability can be highly OP.

    Ganking abilities.
Ult when their heads are lined up, Q to quickly catch up, E to slow, W incase they focus you rather than the laner, passive/basic attacks to double kill.

    Laning abilities.
See ganking, add in flash as summoner spell, and watch as this amazing character stuns his enemies, preventing a counter stun as he turret dives, does damage, other laner cleans up, flashes out if necessary, double kill. Not to mention, by the sound of his Q, it not only launches you towards an enemy, it brings him/her towards you as well, drawing them away from the turret-- less distance to flee if your dive goes poorly.

To sum up: Stun, immobilize, and slow in one champion, not to mention his Q dragging enemies towards him. OP to fucking HELL

    What do you think?

you'll find most newly released champs are 'OP' or 'imba', i reckon it's done intentionally.
    > "holy shit, new champ, man he's OP, better buy him so i can own"
    > riot nerfs champ after 2 weeks and much ca$h money made

I agree, but do you think ziggs is OP? Any of them I have seen don't seem to be.

So is calling the new champion OP the new hip thing? It seems every new champ is "OP" until they come out, Then they're average. Honestly guys enough of this

Did you read the original post at all? If you believe he's not overpowered, then refute my points instead of saying "ur wrong, don't post guys"

I have and I agree his slow attack speed and high CD balances it out. The only reason I asked for legitimate refutal is because this thread was meant to assess nautilus in theory before he was released

Not much of a need for that, Theory doesn't mean much if you don't have any of the facts behind his abilities, I could also say all of Ziggs CDs were 1 second, all of them costed 2 mana and scaled 2.0AP, You need some type of info about the champion not just what the abilities do. Stats, CDs, Scalings

Ban him in all the games.. BAN HIM IN ALL THE GAMES.

Thats how I feel. Avoid the pain, but for the one game I went up against him he was easy to kill. Then again I was twitch with 26 - 12 45 mins in.

I just played a game against him. I'm not sure whether it was a bad player.. but he wasn't as OP as I anticipated.

You can dodge his grab if you're paying attention.
Just stay away from him when he shields if necessary.
His Riptide is just another harass. Not THAT good.
His ult wont hit multiple people unless they happen to be standing in a straight line.

He's also nice and easy to target :)

What Syph said, Ever Naut I've seen is laughable, They do minimal damage to the point where I see a naut and walk past them because I don't care what they try to do, if they try to commit they die, all they can do is put out some meager harass

Um no champion is so called OP to me. It's either you being just completely clueless as a player, they're just better then you full stop, your champion isn't a good match up or they just got fed consistently. I've played The same type of characters for over 1K+ of my games win/losses and i have not come across any champion ive considered OP, team fights change every thing.

I really don't think he is that good. I've played about 10 nautilus so far and only 1 of them has ever been a threat. He doesn't have enough damage output and his skills set is like a weaker leona/blitz. Honestly I haven't seen him played once ranked since he's been released.

His attacks can be easily dodged. Never had a problem with any Ziggs.
