Donations/Begging

I know I am not the only person to see people actively trying to solicit donations from the community. I personally find this just as annoying as begging because that is what you are doing, groveling for donations. I can see putting a donate button in your sig, or when you post a great resource like Tr1bal did in the GFX section and ask for a donation - you are giving back to the community. There have been people who solicit donations at the end of each post and this is no way on topic of the thread. The suggestion is to change the begging rule to something about also actively seeking donations. By actively I mean in every other post you are asking people to donate to you, in a signature a donate button would be fine but adding it in every time you post is too much.

Its against the rules, what are you suggesting?

 

I was suggesting that the rules just say Begging, it doesn't also say asking for donations. In the sake of thoroughness it should also include a donations clause.

You don't have to talk down to me, as I was just making a suggestion.

 

It is allowed to have a donation button in your signature, nothing else will be allowed.

 

Report them.
